Busy Ants June 18, 2008

in a corner of my room I found
busy ants moving tirelessly around
they worked on a crumb of bread patiently
suddenly they were in a line, noiselessly
bringing their share to their nest
to store them for their future’s best
they had to leave again soon, for
there was no more food in store
ants work with instinct and nothing more
but man works with an aim, for
he has to seek for his real home
till its doors are opened for him to roam
and he learns whether this place
was acquired through the Father’s ways.
